Terror Trial

Terror Trial is a roleplay heavy courtoom drama game about being persuasive, and improvising in an absurd situation. It is intentionally heavy on player narrativisation and improv work, leaving it up to those in the game space to see how they feel and wish to act in these combative roles.

It's also part of an ongoing mixed media storytelling experience.

To play you will need:

• At least 5 players.
• At least one d6 for some randomisation.

It was created for Week ??? of the Struthless Alphabet Superset Challenge, for the letter T (for Terror, and Trial). Honestly I think there's a better game somewhere inside this concept, but I didn't have time to find it if I want to keep on schedule. I'll look to revisit the courtroom cross examination format in future, likely in the form of a secret identity game building on the absurd bureaucratic horror of powerful court systems and leaning into some Kafkan territory.
